Alright! Time to update my blog with non con-related content. Shocking! Seriously though I like taking pics of cosplayers, but I'm equally excited when I have the chance to shoot concerts. I got that opportunity and then some thanks to my work, as I saw a chance for me to shoot a concert being hosted in town. I've had the pleasure, thanks to MTAC and Anime Weekend Atlanta especially, to shoot quite a number of concerts; however, this was the first I've ever shot in an arena. So you'd think that might be the intimidating factor, and perhaps it was somewhat; however, as I'm still a pretty shy individual what worried me most was having to get

No idea how I went a whole year and a half without writing a note! Well I was really busy with attending cons, helping to put on Anime Blast Chattanooga, and then the day job, family, friends, and life in general. :D I will say in 2013 I didn't get to take nearly as many photos as I'd wanted to take; however, I was able to expand my range as I shot my first wedding and then did a couple's shoot for Christmas card picture and general 'couple cuteness' pics. :) Those were both very fun moments and I did still enjoy the other opportunities I had as well. Maybe 2014 will be the year I find more free time for photo shoots? Or maybe not... :P We'l

July has been surprisingly busy! Just a week after returning from Anime Southeast I turned around to go back north to hit up Nashville Anime Day! These Anime Day events, Atlanta and Nashville, have both been chances for me to briefly stop by, check out the Dealers Room, and then hit up the city itself. However this time with a different group of friends, and with a different itenerary, I actually got to hang out longer at the Nashville Anime Day itself. I have to say it was a fun experience.
